You’ve worked hard on your project, and you’re ready to present it. But how can you ensure that it will create a buzz? Here are some options for promoting your work.

Go Local

If you want your school or your local community to know about your work, consider the following ideas:

  • Create fliers, posters, brochures, and so on.
  • Distribute promotional materials at school.
  • Send promotions in an email blast to friends.
  • Ask local businesses to display posters in their windows or offices.
  • Deliver brochures to your library and city hall.
  • Write a letter to the editor or a press release for your local newspaper or television station.
  • Publish an advertisement in a local paper or newsletter.
  • Promote your project on the community calendar at a local civic center, either on-site or online.
